Ainsley Reese Ann

Here is my ***BEAUTIFUL*** niece!

Well, an aunt can brag, can't she! Ainsley weights 6lbs 11 oz and is 20 inches long. She has a full head of brown hair & bluish gray eyes. Grandpa says she has mine & Grammy's nose! Her name is Ainsley Reese Ann, I will most likely call her Reese just to be different :) She arrived at 4:15 in the afternoon on Sunday March 29, 2009 during a surprise short snow shower. Baby and mom are doing wonderful!! Alyson did not have an epidural, only local anesthetics right at delivery. She only "pushed" for about 30 minutes. We are all so proud of her :)
~Yes, baby is a bit blue from the umbilical cord- That was a bit scary for a second until Ainsley let out a sweet little cry with her, cute as a button, whimpering lip. Melt your heart.
Being in the room with my sister was an amazing thing. I was a little nervous before hand but it's totally not what you'd ever expect! So cliche, I know. But, seriously everything just comes so natural, you know what they need, when they need it and having a loving hand to hold makes it all that much sweeter. Being there when they laid Ainsley on my sister's chest was by far the best part! Alyson was in instant love, of course, and melted as she said, "It's ok Ainsley, Mommy's here". **Tear** It was a great ride to remember. I'll never forget the day that Ainsley Reese was born!!!
